DE MINAUR LOVES TACOS

ATP  500 ACAPULCO, Mexico.
Eighth seed Alex de Minaur beat American Tommy Paul 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the final of the ATP 500 Mexican Open.It marks the first time that De Minaur has won an ATP 500 event.

«I’ve been putting in a lot of effort to ensure that I’m as fit as any other player,» De Minaur said. «My preparation has been thorough and that gives me a lot of confidence.»
“It’s an amazing feeling – my biggest title to date – and a lot of hard work and sacrifice went into this one, so I’m extremely proud of my efforts all week long,” de Minaur told The Age and Sydney Morning Herald from Mexico.“I think I’m slowly starting to earn a little bit of respect on my name, more than anything.

“I just keep trying to get the most out of myself. I’m not the loudest guy; I’ll just put my head down, do the work, and it’s great to see the results.”

“I know I might not play unbelievable tennis every day, but I know I’m going to fight until the end. I’ve got a whole lot of heart in this little body of mine and I enjoy competing, so I’m very happy with it,” de Minaur said.
