FRITZ DOMINATES IN STUTTGART AND RETURNS TO TOP 4

Taylor Fritz was crowned the new champion of the ATP 250 event in Stuttgart. The American, claiming his first trophy of the 2025 season, defeated World No. 3 Alexander Zverev in the final with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7-0). Fritz showcased his trademark serving power and executed a flawless strategy to secure the victory.

With this win, Fritz has now recorded five consecutive wins over Zverev on the professional tour—adding Stuttgart to his previous triumphs at Wimbledon, the US Open, Laver Cup, and the 2024 ATP Finals. The overall head-to-head now stands in Fritz’s favor, with eight wins to Zverev’s five.

In addition to capturing his ninth ATP title, Fritz returns to the No. 4 spot in the world rankings, climbing three places and overtaking Lorenzo Musetti (No. 7), Jack Draper (No. 6), and Novak Djokovic (No. 5).
