Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo secured a notable victory over 12th seed Tommy Paul at the Miami Open, winning their third-round match 6-2, 7-6(4).

In the first set, Cerúndolo dominated with consistent baseline play and effective service games, breaking Paul’s serve twice to take the set 6-2. The second set was more competitive, with both players holding serve and engaging in several lengthy rallies. The set culminated in a tiebreak, where Cerúndolo maintained composure to prevail 7-6(4), sealing the straight-sets victory.

This win advances Cerúndolo to the fourth round, where he is set to face fifth seed Casper Ruud, who defeated Alejandro Tabilo.
