POKER OF MAJORS

AUSTRALIAN OPEN- Men´s Final. By Leo Canaparo
Carlos Alcaraz won the Australian Open after defeating Novak Djokovic in the final 2–6, 6–2, 6–3, 7–5. The Spaniard made history by capturing his first title in Melbourne and becoming the ninth player in tennis history to complete the career Grand Slam—that is, winning at least once in Australia, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open.

In Melbourne, Alcaraz wrote one of the most important chapters in modern tennis. At just 22 years and 272 days old, the world No. 1 became the youngest player in history to collect all four Grand Slam titles, securing his seventh major crown after previous triumphs at Wimbledon, Roland Garros, and the US Open.

Alcaraz said: “It’s going to be a big challenge to win all the Majors this year. Honestly, those are very big words. I want to take it step by step. The next one is Roland Garros. I have incredible memories there. I don’t want to put pressure on myself thinking I have to do it. But it’s going to be great. I’ll try to be ready, work hard, recover, and train well to play a good tournament at the next Grand Slam.”
