NOLE´S MASTERS CLASS

AUSTRALIAN OPEN
The Serbian Novak Djokovic dominated the twentieth-seeded Frenchman Adrian Mannarino at the Rod Laver Arena, winning 6-0, 6-0, 6-3 in 104 minutes, solidifying his status as the undisputed favorite to claim his eleventh title at Melbourne Park.

It’s worth noting that Australia is like a second home for Djokovic, as the historic right-hander, aged 36, has not lost a match since 2018 when South Korean Hyeon Chung surprised him with a 7-6 (4), 7-5, and 7-6 (3) victory.

The world number 1 is now in the round of 16 of a Grand Slam for the 58th time, tying the record set by Roger Federer, all while maintaining a strong control of the game. Djokovic has won 32 consecutive matches at the Australian Open, remaining undefeated since his loss to South Korean Chung Hyeon in 2018. The ten-time champion did not compete in 2022 due to his vaccination status against the coronavirus.
