SINNER DOMINATES ZVEREV TO WIN THE MADRID OPEN

ATP Masters 1000 Madrid – Spain
Jannik Sinner (ATP World No. 1) delivered a commanding performance against Alexander Zverev (No. 3) in the Madrid Open final, extending his winning streak to 23 consecutive matches and setting a remarkable record as the only player to win five Masters 1000 titles in a row. He also became the first player since the legendary Balkan star in 2016 to claim the first four Masters 1000 events of the season.

During his run in Madrid, Sinner overcame challenges from Benjamin Bonzi (6-7, 6-1, 6-4), Elmer Moller (6-2, 6-3), Cameron Norrie (6-2, 7-5), Rafael Jódar (6-2, 7-6), and Arthur Fils (6-2, 6-4), before ultimately facing the Hamburg-born German in the final. With this victory, the Italian further solidifies his dominance heading into the Rome Masters 1000.
