ZVEREV PLAYED IN THE ZONE

ATP M 1000 MIAMI OPEN
Alexander Zverev advanced to the 2026 Miami Open semi-finals by defeating Francisco Cerundolo 6-1, 6-2 in the quarter-finals. The German dominated the match in just over an hour, setting up a semi-final showdown with Jannik Sinner. This victory marked Zverev’s 25th ATP Masters 1000 semi-final appearance.
The victory marks the first time that the 28-year-old has reached the last four in Indian Wells and Miami in the same season.

“Tomorrow will be the toughest test,” Zverev said after advancing to his 25th ATP Masters 1000 semi-final. “I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been feeling quite well, and hopefully it’ll continue.”

Zverev never relinquished control throughout the one-hour, five-minute match. The two-time Nitto ATP Finals champion landed 76 per cent (32/46) of his first serves and won 84 per cent (27/32) of those points, according to Infosys ATP Stats. He also won four of the seven break points he earned.
